Saggy3dm Tools
Saggy3dm Tools is a set of powerful tools designed specifically for Rhino 7 users. These tools were created after two years of research, which involved watching a lot of videos and curating scripts from various sources, including YouTube videos and Q&A forums and my 20 years’ experience.
Some of the tools were developed in-house, and I have made sure to credit the plugins used in each tool. The best part is that these tools are available completely free of charge. If you find them useful, you can make a donation to support our work.

Before installing the new version, please uninstall the previous version from Program Files.

Flat Pattern Creator
This tool is built on the Parakeet plugin for Grasshopper, and provides users with a wide range of design options.
To get started, navigate to the GRID tab, where you can choose from a total of 12 grid options. From there, you can scale the entire pattern and set the number of patterns in both the X and Y directions to your desired specifications.
Once you’ve set your grid, head over to the Pattern tab, which offers an impressive collection of 14 distinct patterns. With a total of 144 variations possible (12 grids x 14 patterns), there are plenty of ways to get creative.
In this tab, you can experiment with various patterns, including filleting the corners. Once you’ve arrived at your desired pattern, you can generate a pattern or grid in the form of a planar curve on the XY (TOP) plane.
Flower Pattern Creator
This tool is built on the Parakeet plugin for Grasshopper.
In the GRID section, you can choose from a total of 12 grid options, and then adjust the scaling and number of patterns in the X and Y directions to your liking.
The Pattern tab allows you to play with various settings such as random position, curvature, and rotation.Once you have achieved your desired pattern, you can generate a pattern or grid as a planar curve on the XY (TOP) plane.
Round Patterns Creator
This tool relies on the Parakeet plugin for Grasshopper, and offers an array of design options to users.
Begin by navigating to the GRID section, where you can choose from a total of 12 grid options. From there, you can scale the entire pattern and establish the number of patterns in both the X and Y directions to meet your design needs.
The Pattern tab features 3 distinct patterns, providing a total of 36 possible variations (12 grids x 3 patterns). Experiment with various patterns, adjusting the distance or modifying the Bulge/Angle to your pattern.
Once you’ve achieved your desired pattern, generate a pattern or grid in the form of a planar curve on the XY (TOP) plane.

Geometrical Pattern Creator
This tool is built on the Lunchbox plugin for Grasshopper, and enables users to generate striking geometric patterns on Untrim surfaces. With 9 distinct styles to choose from, the possibilities are endless.
Create pattern curves, meshes, or nurb pipes to bring your designs to life. Experiment with different options, such as rotation or seeds, to achieve your desired outcome. In addition, you can easily Swap/Reverse patterns in real-time, and make other adjustments like increasing or decreasing pattern numbers.
With all changes happening in real-time, you can easily fine-tune your design until it’s just right.
Weaving Patterns Creator
This tool was developed after thorough research, and is designed specifically for untrimmed surfaces. Whether you’re looking to create pattern curves, meshes, or NURB pipes, this tool has you covered.
Experiment with different options, such as curve or mesh pipes, to achieve your desired outcome. With real-time adjustments available for the number of patterns, pipe thickness, wave distance, and more, you can fine-tune your design until it’s just right.

Please note that this pattern only works on untrimmed surface. You can generate pattern curves, meshes, or NURB pipes on selected surface. Introducing my special tool, born from extensive research and development.
Gone are the days of struggling to create a signet ring. With just a few clicks, you can easily design your own ring structure in real-time. Simply select a closed flat curve on the XY plane and let the tool do the rest.
